Technique Tuesday: Colorwork Knitting

About This Class

Level: Adventurous Beginner —should be confident casting on/off, knitting/purling, knitting in the round, and pattern reading. Ages: 16+ We provide: Two hours of expert guidance on the basics of stranded/Fair Isle colorwork knitting. You Bring: (Participants receive 10% off supplies purchased at Notion) - A copy of the Holiday Doodle Cup Cozy pattern by Jamie Lomax (available at Notion or on Ravelry.com) - Small amounts (10 g) of 3 colors of DK yarn - U.S. size 4 & 5 double pointed needles - Scissors - Stitches markers - Darning needle Total instruction time: 2 hours over 1 session Want to add more color to your knitting, but unsure where to start? Spend an evening learning the basics while working on a fun and simple cup cozy. You’ll leave class with the skills to readily incorporate more color into your projects! Limited to 4 students. Requires 3 to run. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land.
