About This Class

Ages: 16+ Level: Intermediate. We'll review all the techniques used in this sweater, but you should be confident with the basics (knitting, purling, casting on and off, increases/decreases), as well as familiar with pattern/chart reading and lace knitting. We provide: 8 hours of expert instruction, plus additional materials and support via email between sessions; community fun with other knitters in our bright and cozy shop space. You bring: - A copy of the Love Note Sweater pattern (available at Notion or on Ravelry) - Fingering weight yarn held with silk and mohair yarn in the yardage called for in your size, OR DK yarn held single. - Size US 7 and US 10 circular needles with the cable length for your size - Size US 7 and US 10 DPNs - Stitch markers - Darning needle Join us for 4 weekly in-store meetups for guidance and camaraderie as you work through this sweet top-down sweater, perhaps in time to wear on Valentine’s Day? With its charming lace motif and soft and sensual fabric, you’ll fall in love with this simple but elegant design. Participation is free with purchase of yarn from Notion at a 15% discount. We ask that you register so we can share communications about the KAL and make sure there's space. Limited to 10 students; requires 3 to run. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land.
