About This Class

Level: Advanced beginner. It is recommended that you be confident using a sewing machine. Ages: 16+ We provide: Expert instruction, access to sewing machine and sewing tools. You bring: A copy of the True Bias "Ogden Cami" pattern, plus fabric/notions specified by the pattern (we will cover how to choose fabric during the first class, so no need to purchase it beforehand). Participants receive 10% off class supplies purchased at Notion. Total instruction time: 12 hours over 4 sessions Cost: $159 Dip your toes into the world of sewing your own garments from patterns! In this four-session class we'll make a simple cami top from woven fabric, while learning how to read a pattern. In our first class we'll review the pattern, determine sizing, discuss material and review cutting. In the following three classes we'll walk through every detail of constructing the ogden cami. This class aims to demystify sewing patterns, so you will not only leave with a beautiful custom garment, but also with the knowledge you need to start your next project! Limited to 6 participants; requires 3 to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled start date. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land.
