Drop-in Craft Night + Knit the Rainbow

Upcoming Dates: 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/19, 1/2, 1/16, 2/13, 2/27, 3/13, 3/27 5:30p - 7:30pm Level: All We provide: Time to create with other community members in our beautiful studio space You bring: Your knitting or other handwork project Total time: 2 hours Cost: Free! ($5 suggested donation) Registration not required--come as you're able! Join other local makers for community on (most) Friday evenings. All handicrafts are welcome; feel free to bring a snack or beverage to share. . . . . Drop-in Craft Night includes our Knit the Rainbow event, which supports unhoused LGBTQ+ youth. You are welcome to knit or crochet quick winter essentials for Knit the Rainbow, an organization that provides unhoused LGBTQ+youth with handmade woolens. Patterns and yarn are provided. To support, Knit the Rainbow, you are welcome to bring your own yarn or patterns, but please make sure they meet the following needs: - Dark Colors: For safety and lack of access to washing facilities. - Superwash wools or acrylics. - Patterns for hats, scarves, socks, sweaters, gloves, earwarmers, fingerless gloves, cowls. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land. LIABILITY WAIVER I understand that participation in this class/event may include inherently dangerous activities, including but not limited to the use of scissors, rotary cutting blades, pins, needles, and other sharp implements; the use of motorized sewing machines with sharp, fast-moving parts; and the use of hot steam irons and other electrified and/or high-temperature equipment. I agree to exercise appropriate care when participating and to refrain from participating if I am taking medication or am under the influence of any substances with any tendency to affect negatively my motor skills or level of care and attention. I release from all claims, demands, liability, right or causes of action of whatsoever kind and waive my right to sue Notion LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims in any way connected with any injury, illness (including death), or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in this class/event. If registering on behalf of a minor child, I acknowledge that I am their parent or legal guardian and agree to their participation and to the above liability waiver on their behalf.
