About This Class

Ages: 16+ Level: Intermediate. We provide guidance on all the techniques used in this shawl, but you should be confident with the basics (knitting and purling, casting on and off, increases/decreases), and have familiarity with pattern and chart reading, and at least some experience with brioche knitting. We provide: Eight hours of expert guidance on all knitting techniques used in Stephen West's Briornate Shawl. You bring: (Participants receive 15% off supplies purchased at Notion) - A copy of the Briornate Shawl pattern (available at Notion or on Ravelry) - A total of 870 yards of DK weight yarn, in 1 to 4 colors - Size US 7 40” circular needle - Darning needle Join us for 4 weekly in-store meetups for guidance and camaraderie as you work through this beautiful and unique shawl! With its mix of brioche, dipstitch, and garter bands, you’ll never be bored as you knit your way through Stephen West’s clearly written pattern. Participation is free with purchase of yarn from Notion at a 15% discount. We ask that you register so we can share communications about the KAL and make sure there's space. Limited to 10 students; requires 3 to run. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land.
