Spinning Basics Workshop with Anne Fernweh

Level:  Beginner - suitable for those who have never done spinning before.

We provide:  Everything! Expert instruction, a wooden drop spindle for you to take home, and 1 oz of wool roving with a variety of color choices.

Join local fiber artist Anne Fernweh for a hands-on introduction to making your own custom yarn! In this beginner-level class, you'll learn to spin your own yarn using a simple tool called a drop spindle -- no spinning wheel needed. This style of spinning requires minimal tools and little space, perfect for apartment dwellers or folks who enjoy crafting outdoors or on the go. Leave class with your own handspun yarn to knit, crochet, weave or just admire!

Limited to 5 students. Requires 3 participants to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled date.

If registering on behalf of a minor child, I acknowledge that I am their parent or legal guardian and agree to their participation and to the above liability waiver on their behalf.
