If the prospect of sewing pants intimidates you--or you'd just like support as you tackle a new challenge--this class is here to demystify the "white whale" of garment sewing. The simple yet stylish Closet Core Pietra Pants make a perfect canvas for learning new techniques. Instructor Eliza West is an expert garment sewist with extensive teaching experience who will talk you through every step and have you sewing confidently in no time.
Please come to class with your fabric pieces already cut out. This is primarily a constricution technique class. Bring a muslin to Eliza's pattern fitting clinic to learn how to alter your Pietra Pants to fit your unique shape. If you are not confident about preparing the pattern and cutting out the pieces at home, our How to Use Sewing Patterns class may be the best fit for you.
Limited to 6 participants. Requires 3 participants to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled start date of the series.
