Great-fitting pants are the white whale for many garment sewists. This workshop is designed to work as a standalone or as an optional add-on to the Sew Your Own Pants construction technique class starting on November 3rd. Choose your size and cut the pieces for your muslin (test version) of the Closet Core Morgan Jeans at home, and come to this workshop ready to baste it together and learn how to troubleshoot pants fit with expert garment sewist Eliza West. The menswear Quadra Jeans or plus sized Megan Nielsen Dawn Curve Jeans may also be used.
Please come to class with your muslin pieces already cut out. This is a fitting workshop only. Register for Eliza’s Sew Your Own Pants class series starting on November 3rd to learn the ins and outs of pants construction. If you are not confident about preparing the pattern and cutting out the pieces at home, our Sew Clothes With Confidence virtual class (will be offered in-person in spring 2022) may be the best fit for you.
Limited to 6 participants. Requires 3 participants to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled start date of the series.
Please note our sewing studio space is on the second floor with no elevator access. We sincerely apologize for any difficulty this creates. Don't hesitate to contact us with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
