IMPORTANT NOTE: This class meets in four sessions, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM on October 2, 9, 16 & 23. Registration from this page covers all four sessions.

Level:  Beginner - suitable for those who have never knit before.

Ages: 16+

We provide:  Expert instruction; a pair of needles and a skein of beginner-friendly yarn, plus a 10% discount on additional supplies as desired; and patterns for all projects

Always wanted to learn to knit? There’s no time like the present to pick up this fun and cozy hobby! Over the course of four sessions, you will learn the basic knit and purl stitches, then how to combine them to form designs. You’ll also learn essential skills along the way like how to follow knitting patterns and sew up the seams to finish off your creations. Instructor Becky DeVerna is an educator who has been knitting for nearly 20 years. She will walk you through every step of the process with lots of personal help and troubleshooting along the way. You’ll be ready to knit your heart out in no time!

This class is desgined for true beginners who have never picked up a pair of needles (or need a serious refresher).

Limited to 6 participants. Requires 3 participants to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled start date of the series.
