Learn to Crochet with Hilary Poff (Three Sessions)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This class meets in three sessions, from 6:00-9:00 PM on August 28 and September 11 & 18. Registration from this page covers all three sessions.

Ages: 16+

Level:  Beginner - suitable for those who have never crocheted before.

We provide:  Expert instruction; two crochet hooks and two colors of yarn, plus a 10% discount on additional supplies as desired; and patterns for all projects

You bring: Size D crochet hook and 2-3 additional colors of yarn for the granny square and amigurumi projects

Total instruction time: 9 hours over 3 sessions

Always wanted to learn to crochet? There’s no time like the present! Over the course of three sessions in our studio, Hilary will walk you through every step of the process with lots of personal help and troubleshooting along the way.

You will start with learning the basic single crochet stitch to make a potholder. As your skills grow, you’ll move on to using more advanced stitches to make classic granny squares, and even adorable three-dimensional crocheted critters known as amigurumi. By the end of the class, you’ll be ready to crochet just about anything you can dream of!

We will provide the crochet hooks and yarn to get you started on your projects, You’re invited to use your 10% class supply discount to choose your own yarn to customize your projects if you prefer.

This class is designed for true beginners who have never picked up a crochet hook (or need a serious refresher).

Limited to 6 participants. Requires 3 participants to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled start date of the series.
