Handmade Gifts: Cross Stitch Ornament

Counted cross stitch embroidery has made a huge comeback, and now you can incorpirate this timeless tradition into your holiday season. Anne Mills is the founder and owner of The Stitch Mill, a cross stitch pattern and kit making company based right here in Montpelier. Anne will teach you all the basic techniques of cross stitch and help you make a 3" ornament with a special Vermont design. She'll show you how to add a backing to the hoop so it's ready to hang from the tree or anywhere else in your home.

Limited to 8 students.

Level:  Beginner. You are welcome if you've never done cross stitch before!

We provide:  Everything! A mini cross stitch ornament kit made exclusively for Notion students, plus expert instruction from Anne Mills of The Stitch Mill.
