Beginner 2.0 Knitting with Barbarina Heyerdahl (Four Sessions)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This class meets in four sessions, from 6:00-8:00 PM on February 1, 8, 15 & 22. Registration from this page covers all four sessions.

Level:  Easy - you should be comfortable with the knit and purl stitches.

Ages: 16+

We provide:  Eight hours of expert instruction and directions for a simple hat project.

You bring:  Super bulky yarn (1-2 skeins) and 16" circular knitting needles in a US size 15.

Total instruction time: 8 hours over four sessions

Once you've learned to knit and purl--whether it was recently or decades ago--you won't want to miss this opportunity to implement your skills to start making fabulous knitted creations. Don't stay stuck in scarf-land! Barbarina will walk you through a simple hat project as you learn the principles of knitting in the round, ribbing, and increases and decreases to shape your hat using chunky, fast-knitting yarn.

This class is desgined for early knitters who are comfortable with the knit and purl stitch and are ready to put them into practice at the next level.

Limited to 5 students. Requires 3 participants to run. In the event of cancellation due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive notice and a refund 3 days prior to the scheduled date.
