Age: 16+ Level: Confident Beginner. You should be comfortable with a sewing machine. Total instruction time: 4hrs over 2 sessions We provide: Expert instruction and the use of our fully equipped classroom. You bring: A copy of "Zero Waste Patterns" by Birgitta Helmersson (available at Notion), your favorite jellyroll, backing fabric or sheet, 2" wide waistband elastic, coordinating thread. Students receive 10% off supplies purchased at Notion. Zero Waste pattern cutting offers a modern approach to sustainable sewing. Using a pre-determined length of fabric, pieces fit together seamlessly so no fabric is wasted. By using this method, textile and paper waste are eliminated, while taking the fear out of self drafting clothing. This class is part of our Zero Waste Sewing Series. Students who register for 2 or more classes in the series receive 15% off their total registration (call to register with the discount). Limited to 6 students. Requires 3 to run. In the event of cancellation, students receive a refund 3 days prior to the start date. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land. I release from all claims, demands, liability, right or causes of action of whatsoever kind and waive my right to sue Notion LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims in any way connected with any injury, illness (including death), or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in this class/event. If registering on behalf of a minor child, I acknowledge that I am their parent or legal guardian and agree to their participation and to the above liability waiver on their behalf.
