About This Class

Ages: 16+ Level: Confident beginner/intermediate. You should be confident casting on/off, knitting and purling, increasing/decreasing, and pattern reading. We provide: Eight hours of expert guidance on all knitting techniques used in Stephen West's Daybreak Shawl. You bring: (Participants receive 15% off supplies purchased at Notion) - A copy of the Daybreak Shawl pattern (available at Notion or on Ravelry) - Size US 4. 32" circular needle - Stitch markers - Darning needle - 2 contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn - Optional: row counter (Clover Knitting Register) Total instruction time: 8 hours over 4 sessions, plus email support throughout Cost: FREE with purchase of yarn from Notion (participants receive a 15% discount) Join us for four weekly in-store meetups for guidance and camaraderie as you take your knitting to the next level with this elegant and striking two-color shawl! It's always fun to knit with friends, whether it's your first time making a shawl or your 100th. Participation is free with purchase of yarn from Notion at a 15% discount. We ask that you register so that we can share communications about the KAL and make sure there's room for you at the in-person meetups. Limited to 10 students; requires 3 to run. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land.
