Ages: 16+ Level: Advanced beginner We provide: Sewing machine, basic tools, and expert instruction for designing and executing your quilt. You bring: A copy of "Jelly Filled: 18 Quilts from 2.5" Strips" by Vanessa Goertzen, as well as one Jellyroll and thread. Students receive 10% off supplies purchased at Notion. Total instruction time: 8 hours over 4 sessions Cost: $129 Jellyrolls are so much fun - less cutting and pre-coordinated prints; what's not to love? The Jellyroll Parfait quilt is a basic Courthouse Steps design featured in "Jelly Filled" by Vanessa Goertzen. This class helps you hone your skills in measuring, rotary cutting, and consistent seaming, while still allowing some creative licensing to block layout design. You will be creating a 64" x 78" quilt top. The class includes a brief overview of finishing options. Note: You will have the most success completing your quilt during the time of the class if you are able to work on it at home in between sessions. Notion's sewing machines are available to rent during store hours if needed. Limited to 6 participants. Requires 3 participants to run. You will receive 72 hours' notice and a full refund in the event of cancellation due to low enrollment. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land. I agree to exercise appropriate care when participating and to refrain from participating if I am taking medication or am under the influence of any substances with any tendency to affect negatively my motor skills or level of care and attention. I release from all claims, demands, liability, right or causes of action of whatsoever kind and waive my right to sue Notion LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims in any way connected with any injury, illness (including death), or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in this class/event.
