In memory of our friend and coworker, Kyla Allon, whose generosity and care for the planet inspired this annual event. Monday, April 28 5:30p - 7:30pm Is your guest room full of fabric that doesn't fit your taste anymore? Do your knitting needles no longer see the light of day? Are you ready for a new hobby but hate to buy new supplies? Our new Annual Fiber Craft Stash Swap is for you! Unburden yourself of unwanted fiber craft supplies--knowing that they will go to a good home--and snag some new hobby supplies for free! To Donate: bring unwanted but usable fiber craft supplies to the shop anytime the shop is open from April 21-27. Be sure to give staff your name if you want to have first dibs on Swap Day. To Get Supplies: Browse donations on Monday, April 28--those who have donated will have first pick of supplies from 5:30-6:00 PM. From 6:00-7:30 PM, anyone is welcome to browse. Total time: 2 hours Cost: Free! Registration not required, but folks who donate and leave their name at the counter will have first access to the Swap from 5:30-6pm. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land. LIABILITY WAIVER I understand that participation in this class/event may include inherently dangerous activities, including but not limited to the use of scissors, rotary cutting blades, pins, needles, and other sharp implements; the use of motorized sewing machines with sharp, fast-moving parts; and the use of hot steam irons and other electrified and/or high-temperature equipment. I agree to exercise appropriate care when participating and to refrain from participating if I am taking medication or am under the influence of any substances with any tendency to affect negatively my motor skills or level of care and attention. I release from all claims, demands, liability, right or causes of action of whatsoever kind and waive my right to sue Notion LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims in any way connected with any injury, illness (including death), or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in this class/event. If registering on behalf of a minor child, I acknowledge that I am their parent or legal guardian and agree to their participation and to the above liability waiver on their behalf.
