Block of the Month with Patty

About This Class

Ages: 16+ Level: Advanced beginner. We provide: Sewing machine, basic tools, and a new block design with each monthly session You bring: 3-4 coordinating fat quarters for each monthly session. Students receive 10% off supplies purchased at Notion. Total instruction time: Each session is 3 hours; register for as many or as few sessions as you wish. Cost: $59 per session Join Patty on the first Friday of every month from October to March for a skill-building series to learn a variety of quilt block designs with generally seasonal themes. You're welcome to join as many or as few sessions as you'd like. In each session, you will complete one sampler quilt block and go home with ideas for a second variation on the block. Students who complete all six sessions will end up with 12 blocks that can be finished into a throw-sized quilt. Patty will provide advice and support along the way if you would like to work toward finishing your blocks into a completed quilt. Limited to 6 participants. Requires 3 participants to run. You will receive 72 hours' notice and a full refund in the event of cancellation due to low enrollment. Notion operates on Western Abenaki land. LIABILITY WAIVER I understand that participation in this class/event may include inherently dangerous activities, including but not limited to the use of scissors, rotary cutting blades, pins, needles, and other sharp implements; the use of motorized sewing machines with sharp, fast-moving parts; and the use of hot steam irons and other electrified and/or high-temperature equipment. I agree to exercise appropriate care when participating and to refrain from participating if I am taking medication or am under the influence of any substances with any tendency to affect negatively my motor skills or level of care and attention. I release from all claims, demands, liability, right or causes of action of whatsoever kind and waive my right to sue Notion LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims in any way connected with any injury, illness (including death), or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in this class/event. If registering on behalf of a minor child, I acknowledge that I am their parent or legal guardian and agree to their participation and to the above liability waiver on their behalf.
